Storm (A poem)

A storm approaches A tidal wave Born from emotion

Showcased devotion

Charm enforces

Beauty I crave

Unyielding armour

Yet still I adore her

Delusion advises

Illusion I pave

Inebriated mewl

And a barrel of fuel

Insanity launches Lustful deprave

To be that you cherish Treated like rubbish Distance arises Retreat to your cave

My broken mind

Never saw you unkind

Fantasy collapses

I was a slave

Heart on a sleeve Alone I grieve

Infatuation diffuses After all I gave

Nothing you owe

To seeds I sow

A storm approaches A tidal wave

Death in devotion

Misplaced emotion
